No Facebook Thumbnail or meta data with Reading – Static Page

  • Hi everyone!

    Been working on this for a while now, trying to figure out why I cannot get a thumbnail to display for the homepage of a wordpress website I am working on when linking on Facebook. I have added different programs to work with Facebook and to no avail. They work GREAT on every page BUT the homepage and at least one post — which baffles me even more.

    Yet this page, created the same day, works

    You’ll notice in the homepage or Gina link it doesn’t even show the title in the title bar — just the default website name and the url. no other data.

    I also switched away from the Static Page and used the themes default homepage settings — the Static Page worked fine, but still the direct url came up stripped down in the link.

    Easy Facebook Share Thumbnail
    WP Facebook Open Graph protocol
