‘No Favorites’ message when using shortcode

  • I’m trying your plugin on a website for a non-profit. The Favourite butttons show up and seem to work fine, but when I try to display a user’s favourites – whether products, pages or posts – in WooCommerce My Account (or by adding the shortcodes in any page), I get ‘No Favorites’. I’ve been trying these options:

    1. [user_favorites user_id=”” include_links=”true” site_id=”” include_buttons=”false” include_thumbnails=”false” thumbnail_size=”thumbnail” include_excerpt=”false”]

    2. [user_favorites user_id=”” site_id=”” post_types=””]

    3. [user_favorites]

    But they all generate ‘No Favorites’. My Site uses Siteground with caching enabled on both the server and via your plugin options.

    Any idea why this might be happening? Thanks in advance for any help.

  • I am having the same issue.
    I favorited a bunch of posts but the shortcode
    [user_favorites include_links=”true” include_buttons=”false” post_types=”post” include_thumbnails=”true” thumbnail_size=”thumbnail” include_excerpt=”false”]

    only shows the “no favorites” message

    in my case, the problem was an error in the shortcode, the double quotes where wrong (I copied the text from the plugin description). I edited them in notepad and now it works.
