• I want to use the Parallax Scroll plugin, but I am unable to set the featured image option. My problem is similar to this user’s problem:

    https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/no-feature-image-defined-and-help-section

There is NO option of setting a featured image in the new parallax scroll item. I can’t even set a featured image on a page. The only place where I can set a featured image is the blog post. I added the shortcode of the parallax item and added a featured image in the blog post and this is the error I got on the blog:

No Feature Image Defined! Please specify your background image in the featured image meta box on the admin page. For more information please see the help menu from the parallax scroll admin pages.

This is the url of the blog page I am talking about: https://www.sygma.com.pk/wp/testtt/

There is no parallax, there’s just an image and an error underneath the image. Can you please look into this and guide me?

    Thankyou,

You either have set feature image to be hidden; or there is a problem with your theme.

To be 100% sure; try the plugin with a different theme, preferably a standard theme.

It is possible that the set featured image setting is just hidden. there should be an option near the top of the screen somewhere to set which meta boxes are visible.

Its also possible that your theme disables the meta box from showing unless its a post type it supports; like a post. This sounds like the issue. I would contact the developer of the theme to confirm.

The feature image is fundamental to how the plugin works, hence the error message.
