No featured Video, only featured video Thumbnail

  • On my homepage I show the 7 last posts. If there’s a new video, I would like to show the video as the featured image. I can only get it to show the thumbnail. Unable to get it to show the video with controls in the featured image area.
    I’ve tried all the possible settings.
    Api=OK, WP 5.5, twenty twenty theme.

    Hi,

    The plugin will replace the featured image only if the image is retrieved using WordPress’s function for displaying the featured image. This is needed because it hooks to a WP filter that allows it to do the replacement.

    The only thing you could try is to allow the embedding to be done on all pages, not only single post page. This can be set from the plugin’s Settings by unchecking option “Embed only on single post pages”: https://prntscr.com/u9f25o

    Unfortunatly changing that options does not resolve the problem.
    I guess, Theme Twenty Twenty is not compatible with yoyr plugin.
