No filters available

    I have created a Visual Portfolio and enabled filters, added the categories to taxonomies and ticked the category under the individual projects.

    The problem is that the filter is not showing up no matter what I try.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Hi,

    If you are using a 3rd-party plugin for Portfolio post type, it may use custom taxonomies. For example, our plugin uses a slug portfolio_category for taxonomy. For example: https://shot.nkdev.info/0rcwKJFPS0GNVN49r1qB

    If you see a different slug, you will need to add support for it separately: https://visualportfolio.co/docs/developers/custom-taxonomy-for-filter/

    This solved it – thank you so much!

    Unfortunately I am facing another problem as I am seeing categories in the filters that shouldn’t be there. I searched the forum and found a post that is over 1 year old where you’re saying that, that function is not yet available. Is that still the case? I would really like to have this solved as it is not very professional.
