Hey, guys, maybe there’s somebody to help me.

I’ve just become a vendor of sound effects at asoundeffect.com. I got acces to a WordPress editor (I think it’s WooCommerce based) to submit my products for review, yet I can’t do it, as my SEO check tells me: “no focus keyphrase set”. I’ve run through the product form many times – there’s literally no place to set it.

Anybody got an idea what I’m missing? Thanks!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @foliasound! Thanks for reaching out to us!

This sounds more related to your SEO plugin than WooCommerce, are you by chance using YOAST?

If so, here’s a great article about setting up and using your focus keyphrase:

Let us know how it goes! All the best,

Hey, Andre, thanks for a quick reply! Yes, the site mechanism includes YOAST, but there’s simply no keyphrase field to fill it in ?? Seriously – and that’s my main concern.

The only Yoast box that’s there lets me enter product identifiers like GTIN or ISBN that I don’t have and apparently don’t need. And the point is that my product can’t be sent for a review until I enter the keyphrase, at least this is what WordPress and its SEO check is saying to me out there.

I wrote an e-mail to Asbjoern from asoundeffect.com asking for support, but I thought that I should also look for solutions here ??

Thanks for your support, Andre, and hope to hear from you again!

    Hi @foliasound!

No worries! I’d recommend checking it out directly in the YOAST forum for a better assistance.

Meanwhile, something that you can consider checking is:

    – Does your user have the authority to add it?
    – Double-check if the YOAST is marked to be shown on your Screen Options;

You can find the Screen Options button at the top right of your screen:

If everything is correct, you should see a widget at the bottom of your page, like this:

    I hope this helps!

    My very best,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’ll go ahead and mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.

    Thanks.
