    K,

Thanks for upgrading, sorry for the trouble.

Are any of the other customization options not showing?

If other aren’t showing it’s likely a Javascript error caused by a plugin. You can bulk deactivate them on the Plugins screen and see if that fixes the issue. If it does, you can reactivate them one-by-one until you find which plugin is causing the issue.

If only the font family dropdown is not working I’ll need to see your PHP error log. You can install this plugin to show your error log in your dashboard. Then, visit the customizer page, and return to your dashboard and take a screencap.

With that info I’ll be able to work towards a solution.

    Hi Ben,

I don’t have a dropdown under Font Weight either. I tried disabling the extensions, but it didn’t change anything, and switching browsers didn’t work either.

    My PHP log says :

[23-Aug-2014 10:27:18 UTC] PHP Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in wp-content/themes/ignite-plus/functions-admin.php on line 414

(I delete the first part of the path to the file from the log.)

    Thanks,
    K

Thanks so much, that was really helpful.

I need to send you some files, so would you mind emailing me at [email protected]?

    Thanks!

    Hi Ben,

I have just upgraded to Ignite Plus. Have a couple of Problems that need to be sorted out.

    1) Need help with Pages, as they’re not in line with how I want them portrayed. Used A Static Page and had Home initially as the Front page with 2 Pages. Have to use the Pages as I have a Plugin called Hook pages to Display my content with embed visuals.
Used the Post pages for my Posts. Was alright before I upgraded.

    2) Have followed instructions to add Menu for “Footer” to display my Privacy Policy, Contact Pages & others. But I don’t see it. Also want the Credits at the Footer removed.

    3) I don’t have a Logo, butI would like to add a banner, 468×60 or a collage graphic 500×253 .

    4) On the right Side Bar that I have chosen, I would like to display my Posts just as you have laid out in the theme. I managed to get only 3 posts…although I have configured for 5 in Settings. I am not clear how to get the postings on the widget correctly.

    5) I watched You Tube to add Video with the updated Media but unable to get it done correctly. Kindly advise.
    My site is https://re-growhairloss.com

    ps
Thank you…sorry… first time posting and wondering why after highlighting my link, it didnt appear to work.

    Thanks for upgrading!

For #1, could you provide a little more detail? What exactly has changed during the update from Ignite to Ignite Plus?

    2) Have followed instructions to add Menu for “Footer” to display my Privacy Policy, Contact Pages & others. But I don’t see it. Also want the Credits at the Footer removed.

In the Menus page, there is a tab at the top called “Manage Locations”. Click on that and make sure to set the footer menu you created in the Footer location.

The credits in the footer can be changed using the “Footer Text” section in the Customizer. You can click on the “Customize” link under “Appearance” in your dashboard, and there you will see the “Footer Text” section. If empty, it displays a link to our site, but if there is any content added, it will replace the default link.

    3) I don’t have a Logo, butI would like to add a banner, 468×60 or a collage graphic 500×253 .

Where would you like this displayed? In the logos place, or perhaps above or below the menu?

    4) On the right Side Bar that I have chosen, I would like to display my Posts just as you have laid out in the theme. I managed to get only 3 posts…although I have configured for 5 in Settings. I am not clear how to get the postings on the widget correctly.

This could be a caching issue. If you’re using a caching plugin like W3 Total Cache, try clearing your site’s cache, then clearing your browser cache, and then checking to see if 5 posts are displayed.

    5) I watched You Tube to add Video with the updated Media but unable to get it done correctly. Kindly advise.

WordPress has this really great feature called oEmbed. If you paste the youtube link into the post editor, it will automatically embed it for you.

Okay, that’ll get you part way there, I’ll await your response with the remaining details ??
