    Hello,

Since the update yesterday, I can no longer upload photos to new galleries. However, no explicit error message appears as to why this is the case. The problem never existed before. I am using the latest version.

System shows a critical error – but not an exact one.
    Please check.

    Hi @1fallenangel1,

Sorry to hear of the upload issues. We are not aware of it as being a known problem since 3.50 version, so we hope that you wouldn’t mind enabling define( 'WP_DEBUG', true ); from your site’s wp-config.php file then check to see if you’ll get any details on the actual error code and the file that’s triggering it.

Please let us know if you’ll come across any findings.

    Thanks!

No problem doing this, here the error message, when I now try to add with the search in the folder for new photos:

After I saw now 2 more updates of NextGen, I tried to add it fresh. It looks completely different, than the years before and there is no upload button.

A client’s site had this issue too today. I can confirm that the most recent update appears to have a conflict with EWWW Image Optimizer. @1fallenangel1 A temporary workaround is to disable the EWWW Image Optimizer plugin.

@imagely: any chance this conflict can be fixed? It was introduced with the most recent update of NGG, the two plugins don’t appear to have had any issue until recently.

Thanks Red Clover, that workaround was successful. Hope they will correct this in their new versions too, some minutes ago, 3.54 was installed.

    Hi @1fallenangel1, @redcloversoftware,

We are happy to inform you that the conflict with EWWW Image Optimizer got resolved.

Please feel free to update to the latest version of NextGen Gallery.

Thank you. I can still see 3.54 is the latest version and the version you mean?
