I configured the plugin and after switching to GA4 it stopped showing data. The Plugin is updated to the latest version but still does not show the GA4 data even if it is active and on Google Analytics I see all the correct data. Can you help me solve the problem? Thank you

That’s perfect, thank you. I can see that the issue is as you described, with the Analytics link directing you to a Universal Analytics property (and no GA data within the Site Kit dashboard).

Given the troubleshooting you’ve already performed, please allow me some time to test this and check with the team. I’ll hopefully have an update or troubleshooting suggestion for you at some stage today or tomorrow.

Thanks for your patience on this @cristiano1997. From discussing this case with the team it’s possible that some background updates for your site are not working, background updates that switch your Site Kit dashboard to display GA4 data. If you’d like to share your Site Health status ?(Tools > Site Health > Status), which differs from your Site Health information shared previously, I can check this.

If it is determined that background updates are not working, luckily there are some steps which you can take to ensure your dashboard is updated to show you GA4 data. The steps involved are below:

    1. Install and activate the WP Crontrol plugin
    2. Navigate to “Settings > Cron Schedules” and click on the “Cron Events” tab
    3. Scroll down to the googlesitekit_cron_update_remote_features hook event and click on “run now”
    4. Check your dashboard once more.

Let me know if you have any questions with the above.

Thanks for sharing the additional details @cristiano1997. While the screenshot doesn’t show your full site health status I would expected any background or REST related errors to be listed at the top, in the critical section.

In the event that GA4 reporting has not been pushed out to you via wp-cron , have you tried the steps below? If not please go ahead and do so.

    1. Install and activate the?WP Crontrol plugin.
    2. Navigate to “Settings > Cron Schedules” and click on the?“Cron Events” tab.
    3. Scroll down to the?googlesitekit_cron_update_remote_features?hook event and?click on “run now”.
    4. Check your dashboard once more, or share your full Site Health status and/or a screenshot of the Site Kit dashboard. It’s possible that you may need to disconnect the Analytics module and connect once more.

Let me know if you have any questions with the above.

I’m just following up with you to check whether you’ve had an opportunity to check the above? If so please share whether you can see GA4 data, or ask if you have any questions.

As we didn’t receive a response I’ll mark this as resolved. Feel free to open a new support topic if you continue to encounter issues, or reopen this topic and we’d be happy to assist.
