• A new issue popped up…

Adding images with the “ARI Stream Quiz” plugin doesn’t work. The media library doesn’t show up. Need to de-activate “WPCM” to make it work.

Sorry it took some time, was difficult to find…

Hope it works now with 2.3.2.

Took a quick glance. It seems to work now.

Thanks for still supporting this after 10 years!

A new, possibly related, issue. Adding images to ARI quiz works just fine, except the categories checkbox won’t show up.

    WordPress 6.6.1 / PHP 8.3.2

    Hai,

Sorry to hear you have an issue again.

Unfortunately I do not quite understand what you mean? Can you eleborate a bit more? What are the steps I need to replicate the issue? Can you share two screenshots one showing the faulty situation and one showing the expected screen?

    1. Add a question to quiz
    2. add a new media file (picture) to the question
    3. The new media file can be added (uploaded) as expected but one can not select the category to put the new media file under. The checkbox’ MCM adds when a new file is uploaded simply don’t show up.

    Hai,

I can understand this might be something you might expect. However, it is functionality which I also don’t see when uploading an image when editing a post. I’ll think about how to make it happen. But no promises…

In the mean time maybe you could use the default category used when uploading? It is part of the settings.

    Added a screenshot: https://i.ibb.co/wWnNX5Z/MCM-1.jpg

When selecting the media afterwards in the library I can select the category just fine. Just not when adding it from within ARI Quiz.

I see what you mean. However, this behavior is the same as when adding an image when uploading it when editing a post. Then the MCM category also can only be added afterwards. So I can agree it might be desirable but I don’t consider it a bug.

And just a thought viewing your screenshot: shouldn’t the last category be “Jerommeke” instead of “Jommeke”?

    Thread Starter bobf000

    (@bobf000)

When uploading/editing a post “the wordpress way” the categories are shown. When doing the same from within ARI the categories are not shown. It always did that in the past but stopped doing it a little while ago (don’t know exactly when. Could be since WP 6.6.x)

No, it really is “Jommeke” (Flemish comic character). Everything “Jerommeke” I put under “Suske en Wiske” ??

The exact same issue returned, I think since the latest WP update. Option to select MCM categories are not shown when adding an image with ARI stream quiz.

Hai, sorry to read the same issue returned. However, could you elaborate a bit more on which issue?

In my dev environment, I can still add an image using the MCM filters. I have to admit I’m using WP 6.7.1 and php 8.2.3.

Adding images using “media” is no problem. The MCM will appear and works as it should.

However, when adding images from within Air Stream Quiz, the MCM selections are not available. To assign it to a category one has the re-open the newly uploaded image with “media” and do it from there.

Somehow Air Stream Quiz is not aware that MCM exists, hence doesn’t show it’s options.
