No H1 tag?

You can manually add an H1 tag to your front page using blocks or widgets. Go to Appearance > Widgets, and add a simple text or heading block in the Sidebar with an H1 tag and the needed text.

Using a feature like Widget or Block Visibility, you can make that text visible just on the front page:

thanks a lot. The german page “seitwert.de” still claims that it’s not enough, but at least All in One SEO seems content.
