    Please see the encoding thread as I think it will solve your problem.
    The plugin does support utf-8. When you install the plugin it sets up to the default encoding that you have used when you set up your WordPress Database.

    So go into phpmyadmin open up the testimonial basics table and change it to utf8_general_ci. That should solve your problem.

    I not convinced it is a good idea to change the table set up from the default, but I will look into it. I’m currently in the middle of an update.

    It would be nice if it could function out of the box. As a non coder it would be easier.

    Yes I agree with you. The concern I have is that other users who have set up WordPress with a specific encoding in place may be affected.

    To be honest I really don’t know enough about all this encoding stuff and I’ll just have to dig into it. I will need to be comfortable that the changes I make to the table encoding won’t cause problems for other users.
