• Hi All,

I want to edit certain content on my home page. So I browsed to my website’s home page and click on “Edit Page”, it opened the WP editor but there is no code shown in the editor window (both Visual and Text) … I have no idea where the code for this page is located.

    Please advise.

    Thanks.

  • Hi andrewoo,

Which theme are you using? Most often the content on pages like that is controlled either via Settings > Customize or custom fields.

    Hi cdcampbell26,

Following you hint, I can found most of the parts on the front page. However, for the portion that I want to edit, I still cannot locate its relevant code. Is there any other places that can “hide” the code?

I cannot understand why they made the Home page editing different from other pages.

    andrewoo,
In wordpress dashboard, navigate to Appearance > Editor. On the right side you will see all the pages you can edit. However, you should create a child theme before you do so. It would also help if I knew what theme you are using.
