No icons appearing for “Share This”

    I have loaded Alex King’s “Share This” plug in at my site – https://www.managingleaderhsip.com/blog – and everything went smoothly and it works fine – except that the icons don’t show – not the main “Share This” icon, and not the icons for the networking sites in the pop up window – the “close” “X” for the pop-up doesn’t even show – but everything works right. I’ve checked, and the files are in the plugin folder as directed, and when I view them from there, they appear – they just don’t show up in the site. I’ve tried this on computers using IE7 & IE6 – no luck.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you Alex – I viewed the section of your documentation you indicated, and then went to the style.css file for my theme, which is Very Plain Text, in my themes directory (this is hosted by Yahoo Small Business, by the way, if that makes any difference), but I couldn’t really understand what I would want to modify in order to allow the icons to become visible on the site. I’m a reasonably competent consumer/user of these products, and I can tinker with html, but that’s restricted mainly to manipulating text and images in html – not code. Should I refer this question to the author of my theme?

    If you’re not familiar with CSS then asking the theme author is probably the best idea.

    Hello again Alex,

    Just thought I’d fill you in on the outcome. I contacted Scott Wallick, the author of my theme, as you suggested. He made two recommendations, and the first one I did – which was to upgrade to the latest version of the theme (Very Plain Text) – did the trick.

    So, your excellent plugin is up an working at full speed.
