    I downloaded your plugin a few days ago. I was having problems with featured images not showing when I share to my Facebook page. After some inquiries, your plugin was highly recommended as solving this particular issue.

    I’ve filled in all the settings requirements in your plugin. Even added an image to default to in case FB can’t find the featured image in my posts. However, to no avail. NOTHING seems to work. No images show up in FB no matter what I do.

    This is a recent problem for me (I would say it started about 4 months ago). I’ve been sharing to FB for years from this same blog without any problems with the images not showing up.

    PLEASE HELP!! I’ve spent so many hours trying to figure this out. I’m about to just give up entirely. The images don’t even show up when I simply copy and paste my post’s URL onto my FB page.

    Any insight would be extremely helpful.

    well before I even investigate further I can already tell you have another plugin that’s outputting OG tags. Jetpack. Go onto your page and right click and hit “view source”. THen CTRL+F (cmd+f if on a mac) and search for “og:”. you’ll see those.

    Also i’m not sure what you put into the plugin settings admin field but it’s definitely not a facebook user id – it’s wwaaaaay too long.

    Go to https://developers.facebook.com/tools/explorer
    click get token. then click submit and your ID number will be in that window area.

    Hi Chuck,

    The long token I have in place, I got by going to the link you gave and clicking “Get access token”.

    I’m not a technical person at all. So, do you think if I deactivated jetpack, I’ll be ok? Do I really need jetpack at all?

    re: token. The token you used is the facebook token to use their tool not your user ID.

    – Go here: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/explorer
    – Click Get Token -> Get Access Token -> okay.
    – Then click Submit
    Your user ID should show up in the box – just take that number and that’s what goes into the plugin settings.

    re: JetPack – I don’t know if you really need that at all and I can’t answer that from where I’m standing. Jetpack does a lot of different things but seems to enable you to turn off the parts you don’t want/need so look into that.
