No image in Google SERP for Product or category

    I am currently facing an issue where the images of my products or categories are not appearing in Google search results. Instead of displaying an image of my products, only text-based search results are shown. This is concerning as it significantly reduces the visibility and click-through rates for my website, impacting potential customer engagement and sales.

    Has anyone else encountered a similar issue with missing product images in Google SERP? How did you fix it?

    What I currently did:

    1. Product has a featured image
    2. Image contains SEO friendly name, eg “red-hat-size-s.jpg”
    3. Image has a SEO friendly title, alt text and description
    4. Using Yoast plugin

    Would like to know if someone also facing this problem or someone knows a the fix for this.

    I understand that the product images are not showing up in Google when searching for your products.

    Since you’re using Yoast to optimize your site’s SEO, I recommend you get in touch with their team for now: https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/wordpress-seo/

    However, if the problem turns out to be WooCommerce-related somehow, please let us know and we’ll be more than to happy to investigate further. :?)
