Hello, I installed this theme, but I don’t know why the post’s image is not showing up on the published post. The image is set as featured and it appears in the slider, but if you click to see the post, there is no image. Website: testing.fsrn.org Thank you in advance for your help.

  • Hello Meca!

Normally the featured images doesn’t appear on the single post pages… You need to insert them directly on the post itself to display them.

Make a test and let me know your findings ??

No, ellp, that’s not true – @mecanofan, you have to switch within your post to the custom post type -> image, and then your featured image is shown within your post.

You can switch to another custom post type at the right column when editing a post, here a screenshot from a German WordPress installation: https://screencloud.net/v/5vnd

    Thank you csigncsign.
I have many, many posts, do I have to individually go back to each one to choose “Image” on the post format? Also, when I do choose “image” the image displays very big (as in the full size as it was uploaded). How could I address these two things? Thank you!

you can make the (WP usual) bulk edit of all your posts and set the desired custom post format.

Concerning the images: upload them in the right size – for performance reasons you should not upload huge image sizes/files.

This plugin may do the bulk change for you: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/bulk-change/

Thank you all so much. I’ll try it and see how it goes.

I tried the plugin that you recommended (bulk change) but when it’s installed it doesn’t give me the option to bulk change the post format from “post” to “image.” Any other ideas of how I can change all the posts at once?

you do not need a plugin for it!
Go to your posts, mark all that you want to edit.
