    Hey there @giangy55,

Given the images show up in Outlook this is possibly a restriction on the Gmail. BTW, have you tried to use a Gmail clients,

Your Gmail account might have the display images option disabled. Would you mind verifying if that is the case? Instructions on how to check this is here.

Do keep us posted on how the recommended suggestion works out for you.

    Hi @simplysaru

Thank you for your reply. Scroll down after the images where I share my efforts with the google workspace support.

Back to your question: I tried already to play around with the settings you mentioned. Unfortunately no success. My default was set to “Always display external images”. I asked also friends which use GMAIL, they have the same results.

Last week I was in contact with the google workspace support. I followed these steps as well:

Login to the Admin Console > click on Apps, from the left side menu > click on Google Workspace > scroll down and click on Gmail > on the right side, scroll down and click on “Safety”. Under that, please un-check the first two options “Protect against encrypted attachments from untrusted senders” and “Protect against attachments with scripts from untrusted senders” and save the changes.

Once that is done, scroll down and click on “Links and external images” and turn off all the options and save the changes.

Also, to keep you informed, since we have just made the changes it will take a few hours to 24 hours for the changes/settings to completely propagate.

So let me explain you why we made the changes. As per your settings, the images that were being identified as unverified and malicious and was not appearing in Gmail. As the servers were identifying the images as un-authenticated. Now, since we have made the changes in the settings this will fix the issue.

So even after all these changes in settings, in Gmail the images are still broken in Gmail. As I said, other E-Mail Clients like Outlook are OK, they display the images without any issues.

Yesterday’s chat with google workspace support came to the conclusion that MailPoet is most probably not using the direct link to image when sending out newsletter. This causes Google to block the images.

I’m sure I’m not the first one with this issue. Right now I don’t have any solution.

    Happy to try other approaches.
