No images on front page?

In 3.0.1 you can set the size of the image that appears in each column size. It is awaiting approval on wp.org.

I removed the old way of displaying images if they were included within the post content since that was causing issues, and the featured image function works a hundred times better. Now smaller images are loaded, which speeds up your site and makes it look better in the eyes of search engines.

I have the same issue as Jon W – I liked the images on the front page.

How do I get images on the front page?

I do not even understand ‘feature image function?’ Can someone help.

I have to say I’d like it back the way it was – but again, am not really sure how to re-install older version.

That has been the standard in WordPress for a while and it is the best approach to be using.

One thing that impacts what I do is the the feature image doesn’t allow me to pull a thumbnail or tiny image from my photo site. It forces me to load it into my media library. Which isn’t a show stopper, just an extra step. When I have used featured image in the past it seems to get confused when you change it to a different pic. However, as you said it is much faster.

I am new to WordPress and even though I am an old man of 75 I thought I was a little computer cluey until now. I cannot figure out how to put a photo on my front page I know it should be easy but no. I also have a problem that almost everytime I log in it says incorrect password and I have to go through the whole processof resetting my password.I like WordPress but it is not as simple as it is said to be.
