  • YES! i have the same problem! The image of Expound’s home page shows a header image and 4 photos – a photo in every post (the newest post at the top, and then 3 others past posts.) This is exactly what I want, too. But when I use Expound, there are no images (and no way to put them in) on the Home page. There are images on the individual post page, but not on the home page! This is the main thing preventing me from implementing Expound.

Please help sohowp and me! Thanks!

You need to add a ‘featured image’ to your posts. When editing your posts, look at the bottom of the right-hand sidebar and go to the bottom (you may need to scroll). Add a ‘featured image’ using the applet. Also read this forum page.

I see the featured image control below the post, but the image I want to feature is not in my library. (It is accessed via a link URL.)

What is the solution? Should I copy the image to my library and then feature it?

    My site is https://www.andykubrin.com.

    Thanks.

    Andy

I think the easiest thing is just to download it to your own computer first, then upload it to the Media Library and then you’ll have a much more stable connection to it.

BTW, I’m using a different template now… just worked out better for me. On an unrelated problem but relevant to “image” in general… One thing I stumbled upon was that it can make a big difference how big the image is – how many pixels the total resolution is, the Length as well. If things are going funny and you just can’t figure it out, check out the resolution and size and play around with that. A file that’s too big for the settings of the template could be the culprit.
