No images showing in website

Suddenly noticed that no images where showing on my site. https://www.etb.uk.com This was prior to the latest version. Not sure what version I was on. Firefox does not give any hint to the user, but explorer shows a white box. In the Dashboard I can get to the image file, but cannot see it. When I click on it (filename) I get a permissions error. Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access /wp-content/uploads/2010/04/LimbPhasing-Case-for-joint-angle.jpg on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Used filezilla to check permissions and they are the same as another one of my sites that are on the same build standard. file permissions 646 and folder permissions 755.
Any clues please.
