"no input file specified" error

  • I’ve installed WP, and it was running for a while, until i got a warning “too many open files” and after a few seconds a blank page with “no input file specified” error appeared.

    My hosting company said it was a problem with my htaccess file and i should upload a new one.

    So I did and the website was running again for a short while untill i again got the same error (first “too many open files”, and after a page refresh: “no input file specified”).

    To excluse a plugin or theme issue I installed a vanilla wordpress without any plugins or themes in a subfolder.

    I still get the same error on this vanilla install.

    Anyone who know what this could be and has a fix?
