No Lightbox, Images Open in a Separate Tab

    After an automatic update of WP by my hosting company I noticed that while the thumbnails look normal on my blog, once you click on them Lightbox does not work. Instead, images open up in a new tab by themselves.

    I thought this was caused by a plug-in (Pinterest Lightbox was the suspect as I have seen it mess up other people’s sites), so I deactivated it, along with the other plug-ins to see if that would change anything. No change – Lightbox is still not functional and the images still open in a separate tab.

    Any ideas would be highly appreciated.

    Using WordPress 4.3 running Pixeled theme, Version 2.1.10 of NextGen Gallery

    @valnan01 – I would suggest deactivate *all* plugins and temporarily switch to a default WordPress Twenty series theme then re-activate NextGEN Gallery to see if the problem still persists.
