No line breaks?

    Okay, I know that the WP developers seems to have an aversion or hatred of any kind of html that allows you to do real formatting except for <div> but this version (2.6.2) doesn’t even support simple text formatting codes like <p> or <br /> .

    What gives? How do I put a line break in if it won’t parse, and actually ignores, these codes?
