I have Email Users plugin installed on one of my sites and have been using it successfully for a while but now it is removing all the line breaks.

I don’t know if the latest update has something to do with it or not but the only thing I have done since the last time I used it (a month ago) is update a few plugins, Email Users being one of them.

Any thoughts on how to fix the problem?

Did you read through the thread that was posted over the weekend?

There haven’t been any changes to plugin that would result in removal of line breaks.

I did read through the other thread.

I was hoping for a way to clear up the problem without having to install another plugin and use plain text rather than HTML.

Our Program: “Beneficiary Designations for IRA’s and Qualified Plans” While our clients often don’t seem much need to give a lot of thought to the beneficiary designations for investment accounts like IRA’s and qualified plans, we as advisors know it’s an important consideration. There are right ways, wrong ways, better and worse ways to do them. This month’s presentation will examine the designation of beneficiaries for IRA’s and qualified plans as well as the options available with respect to tax treatment of distributions. Nothing has changed in Email Users with respect to line breaks so the first thing to look at is if anything else has changed.

Any changes to your theme? Any new plugins installed? Has anything else changed? If another plugin or theme has added an action or filter which changes the behavior of autop, it is very possible you’ll see results similar to what you are seeing.

Would you be willing to try this new beta version? I am curious to see if any of your hooks/filters would show up as “missing”.

I have released v4.6.11, marking this resolved for now.

Same problem here. v4.6.11 doesn’t solve it.

I’m trying to sending notify email from post page (Notify Users About this Post link) and problem happen, no line-breaks in email.

But, if I use the menu: “Email Users – Send to Users” and paste my content in it, it’s working properly.

Please help me out this issue.

This sounds like a filter issue. I say this because the post content will be processed by content filters where as an email will not. On the Dashboard home there is an Email Users widget. In the widget is a new section which shows the status of various filters. What do yours report?

Have you disabled all other plugins to determine if there is a plugin conflict?

Yes, I disabled all other plugins. Still doesn’t work.

    (@mpwalsh8)

It could be your theme as well. What theme are you using?

    Plugin Author Mike Walsh

    (@mpwalsh8)

That is a paid theme so it isn’t possible for me to download and test with it. You can also ask your theme provider if you can provide me a copy for debugging purposes. Several other people have done this previously.

The next thing to try would be to see if the problem persists with one of the standard WordPress themes (e.g. TwentyTen). I realize this can be a bit more involved than disabling plugins as it can affect things like widgets and such.

Unless you want to provide me access to your site to take look, other than trying a different theeme, I don’t have any other suggestions off the top of my head.

Mine is on the Twenty Eleven theme so you can check that out if you like.

I seem to be having the same problem – if I send to one user only, or if I send a test mail, there is no problem, but if I send to a group, the line breaks are missing
