No Link in the “LINK”-Field (Instagram)

Thank you for reaching out. Instagram does not support clickable links. You can add an URL to your description of your post, but it won’t be clickable. Instagram seems to do this as a security measure to protect its users against compromised links and spamming. However, to add an URL to the link field of your Instagram posts automatically, you can check the link-checkbox in the template settings for your Instagram posts and Blog2Social will automatically add your link as with Facebook and other networks.

Please follow this path to edit the network templates:
Your WordPress installation -> Blog2Social -> Networks.

Look out for Instagram and click on the button labeled “Edit Post Template” next to it. You will see an overlay with more options for configuration. Below the content configuration, you will find a checkbox labeled “Add Link to the end of the post”. Please activate it and click on the “Save” button to apply your changes.

Thank you for your reply. Tis solution doesn’t work for me in fact i don’t have the “smart”-Version ??

But since it worked before, I assume that this function was only recently blocked for the “free user” ??

Thank you for your feedback. Due to the Instagram link policy and the request of many of our users, we have changed the standard link setting to an optional standard setting in the templates. However, you can still add the link to your Instagram post in the post preview. You can also add a clickable link in your Instagram bio.
