No Link to Leave Comments On Home Page

  • I have the Origin theme on my blog and there’s no way to leave comments from the home page of my blog. People have to click on the post before you even have the option of commenting. Does anyone know how to make the comment link show up on the home page so that people don’t have to click on the post and be taken to a separate page first before they can do so?

    Comments are loaded on the single post/page template only. I don’t think it makes sense to have a bunch of posts listed plus all of their comments on the same page (url).

    Even search engines would penalize you for that.

    I understand that. But in other themes, there is a link that will take you to the comment section on the home page for all posts. So the comments don’t load, but there will be a little icon or link that says “comment (12)” for example, and links to a place where you can comment and shows how many comments have already been left. That is what I would like to do.
