    Have you tried to temporarily:

    – deactivating all other plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems

    Yes.

    And after posting this I discovered it’s on ALL pages. Not just event pages.

    But yes, the first thing I tried was subbing in a generic theme. Then I turned off all the plugins. No joy.

    this works on my test site and it could be a theme (or using child theme) issue on your side.

    I’ve narrowed it down to the mobile template. It is a theme issue.

    Ok, then best thing would be to contact the theme developer for support.
