We are adding SQUARE to a working WooCommerce website using DIVI theme. The SQUARE account has a functional FIXED Location that we have used to take credit cards for years. We decided to ditch a different Payment gateway and have verified the Location, but it isn’t showing up as a selectable location.

Verified with our host WPEngine, that there isn’t a conflict with their supplied SSL (which has worked with other WooCommerce payment gateways).

If there are known issues with DIVI, please share the workaround. I can’t imagine that WooCommerce would allow such a conflict to go unresolved given the popularity of the theme.

    How I solved this…
While on the phone with my host to verify proper SSL and no other restrictions, I took the following actions with the results listed.

    Action:
Deactivated the Plugin WITHOUT disconnecting it from SQUARE
    Flushed the website cache (WPEngine)
    Result:
    NO CHANGE

    Action:
Disabled WordFence Security (Premium) Left Plugin ACTIVE
    Result:
    NO CHANGE

    Action:
Disconnect Plugin From Square, Flushed Cache
    Result:
Location Populated and was able to use a credit card to make a transaction!

The last action was taken while I was on the phone with WPEngine to make sure their hosting or SSL configuration was not the likely issue. While their CSR was consulting their Senior tech support, I disconnected SQUARE from the plug, reconnected and magically the Location showed up. I ran a transaction and that was successful as well.

I have no idea of flushing the cache did anything to help, but that is part of my process when I make any major changes to plugins.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi @wudman

Thank you for your feedback on this, it’s great to hear what steps you took to fix the issue, and to have them documented here for others who might have the same problem.

It’s what these forums are all about.
