    Hi,

after changing my hard drive to ssd I’m blocked on this computer. It says “The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.” If I go to my laptop I can log in with the same login!?
How can i solve this problem?
    Thanks

  • Hi @ole_wilkenburg,

Can you disable Wordfence with FTP to see if it’s Wordfence blocking you from entering your site?

Can you disable Wordfence by renaming the plugin folder /plugins/wordfence/ to /plugins/wordfence-old.

    Thank you Dave,
thats what I did, but after giving back the wordfence name I was locked out again!? It looks like my iMac is blocked only!?

A second website has the same issue.

When a customer tries to login, it shows the message “There is no suitable CSPRNG installed on your system”.
    Can you please help?

    Heyho…
It would be nice to get some help again! I always need to use ftp to go into backend! I have this issue only with the imac with new ssd, my macbooks don’t lock me out…

I installed and used wordfence assistant, but with no success! I have no idea what to do!? I tried to whitelist my IP, not sure if I did right, but it don’t work!
I tried to figure out to send an email for unblock but wf documentation says that there is a way, but not how and where!? I searched all wordfence pages for an option, but I could not find out how it works.
    HELP PLEASE!!!

    Sorry for the delay.

Is your issue still occurring? The “There is no suitable CSPRNG installed on your system” issue was remedied in 7.3.3 on our end. If that didn’t help, an upgrade to PHP 7+ is necessary.

If you are still having lockout issues — first rename the folder and then login like normal, once logged in, rename the folder back and refresh your dashboard. If you are not locked out, go in to Firewall > Blocking and look for a block on your IP.

If when you rename the plugin back you are locked out when you refresh the page, you’ll need to download and use the Wordfence assistant to disabled the Wordfence firewall so you can find the block on you.

Let me know if that helps,
    Scott

Wow, sorry to say, but 7 weeks is a really bad reaction time for an issue like this for a security plugin!
But thank you for coming back to this, yes, it was fixed with your last update!

I completely understand and again, I apologize for the time between messages. I’m glad to hear the update fixed the issue for you.
