No login page, white screen only

    I only get a white screen with no login! I tried on Chrome and Explorer. I was trying to change the style of my search bar and entered code into the CSS (maybe in theme php or the main CSS?)and clicked “update”. When I tried to “view page”, it only showed a white screen and won’t let me login. I don’t know where to find FTP and I downloaded PHPMyAdmin but don’t know how or where to install it.

    Try:
    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    I believe, GoDaddy.

    esmi, I saw the above advice on other threads and don’t know where to find FTP and I downloaded PHPMyAdmin but don’t know how or where to install it.

    esmi, I found my FTP by digging around in GoDaddy and changed my theme name (Flexible) with -old, was able to login to WordPress and re-upload my theme.
