Unfortunately our custom logo is not visible on our page.

trough this link you can see 4 screenshots:

    https://1drv.ms/f/s!AvRSVuKl2U0-gcZi7i4BBPaqukGpTQ

On screenshot 1 you can see, that our login page shows no logo at all.
Screenshot 2 shows the plugin page after uploading a logo trough the build in uploader.
The preview shows only a small symbol and not the logo.
Screenshot 3 shows the plugin page after directly inserting the URL of the logo. The preview does not work here either.

Screenshot 4 shows the plugin page after saving the new logo. As you can see, the custom logo does not get saved. Instead, the standard wordpress logo shows up. This stays the same trough every upload method ( direct upload or inserting URL).

I would be very happy if you could fix this problem

    hello,

thank you for the feedback, i will check back this issue.
as i can see, your WP is running on a local server environment.

    so i need some information:
    1. plugin version?
    1. wordpress version?
    2. server type (MAMP,XAMMP … ) / system (win, linux, osx)?

    thanks for your help!

I am using the following setup:

WP Custom Admin Login Page Logo – Version 1.4

Server type: XAMPP – Control Panel v3.2.2
    Operating System: Windows 10 Home – Version 1607 – Build 14393.953

Thanks for the provided information. I think I have an idea about the issue. If it’s the reason i’m thinking of, I will release an update.

    Cheers,
    Lars

    Now it (almost) works:
I copied the url from a picture inside the media libary and then in the url field of the plugin. Now I can at lest see my custom logo.
After resetting it, it now also works if you import it from the media libary and don’t paste the url manually.

But my optional text is not visable at all.

Another thing I am not sure about is the link of the logo, when you click on it:
I tried the same method on a server hosted website (mine is a copy of the same website via localhost): The link to the wordpress homepage apparently got replaced by our websites link. But with the localhost version that is not the case.

Not working, image not loading showing smalls error symbol. Tried to upload image from MAC, and my onboard library, and I used the link. I uninstalled and reinstalled. Still no image.

    WordPress – Version 4.7.5
WP Custom Admin Login Page Logo – Version 1.4

Server type: InMotion Hosting cPanel Version 60.0 (build 43)
    Operating System: MACOS/Sierra – Version 10.12.5

    hey guys,

i am working on a solution. my first idea was to find the issue in the wp upload panel, but on my installation it works.
hard to find, but i’m keeping my head up to find the error.

@mermaidsbrew try the following (no real solution but helps me find the issue):
remove the website url from the image link and try to start the image url with /wp-content/… (like “/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/myimage.jpg”)
    let me know what happens.

@nicolasblume96 I already figured out that is an issue with localhost installations. wp isn’t very localhost-friendly (in my opinion), so I would recommend a subdomain installation on a webspace in any case. so you can make sure to have the same conditions on a server at every time?– and at least you’ll see what you get before the site goes live.

localhost installs (with MAMP,XAMP, whatever) have so many different settings regarding security, htaccess rights, php versions… imho it’s hard to rely on this.

    @larsactionhero

I will give removing the URL a try and let you know!

Thanks for hammering away on this…I’m impressed!
