    I’ve used this plugin for over a year, but with the release of the new plugin name and version (Hype social instead of Buffer my posts) the exclusion of categories does not work anymore.

    With “Buffer my posts” I could tell the plugin to never buffer a post that belonged to a specific category, no matter what other categories it belonged to.
    For example, if a post belonged to the categories: “DO NOT SHARE” “Fashion” and “Shoes” it would not be shared.

    But the new version of the plugin only looks for posts that are ONLY categorized in the specific category. Which isn’t really intuitive or practical since most posts always belong to multiple categories, which makes it easy for the readers to find good content.

    This change alone makes the plugin un-usable for me.

    Anyone know a workaround or could the devs possibly add this feature? Like you said you would do here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/a-lot-of-missing-features?replies=8#post-

  • I use SHARP theme by Gabfire.

    I cannot remove the categories from displaying on the navigation menu. I have them listed on the EXCLUDED CATEGORIES. I have this problem since I update yesterday WP to 4.4

    I am not an IT person, I would need very simple instructions

    Please advice.

    @ Eklundz,
    Sorry for our late response and thank you for your patience.
    The feature you have asked us to create is unique (nobody else had asked for it) but since we have promised to implement it we will do it. In fact, we have already started to work on it as you can see it from the following image: https://tinypic.com/r/69q9gh/9. As soon as we finish and test the implementation we will update this post.
    P.S.Please note that we may not implement this to a free version as we have a lot of expenses to cover.

    @fposadac,
    We are sorry that you are experiencing problems and we found out that a lot of people are having issues with some plugins/themes after updating to version 4.4. We have checked our plugin on multiple sites that we manage and it’s working fine with the newest version of WordPress, but some people that are using Genesis themes have reported the issues. We are working on resolving this, but so far all that we have found out is that some themes are the problems. Until some fixes are published from either the theme authors or WP core team I would suggest either to instal the old version of WordPress again or change your theme, for now. We will however keep you posted here as soon as we know more. Again, I am sorry for your inconvinience and thank you for your patience.

    Hi @ Eklundz,

    We have implemented your feature and it works properly! Yay :). It will take a couple of days to get it published. If you need more info please feel free to email me [email protected].
