Until recently, the free version of the plugin displayed images in two rows (4 columns), as I have the desktop version set to display 8 thumbnails without a border in 8 columns. Since the most recent update, the mobile view shows very large single images (seemingly chosen at random) as a slider, which link to the image rather than to Instagram.

Is this something that’s set wrong on my side, or did the plugin change? The desktop view is still fine, it’s just the mobile view that’s incorrect.

    Thank you!

  • Hello.

The Mobile tab is now available in the widget settings. There you can configure the slider display on mobile devices separately.

As I mentioned, I’m using the free version of the plugin. There’s now a message in the widget settings under the mobile tab that says “MOBILE SETTINGS AVAILABLE ONLY IN PREMIUM VERSION.” There is no option to configure anything. What am I missing?

Try resaving the widget or deleting it and creating it again.

I’ve deleted the plugin, reinstalled it, deleted the widget, recreated the widget, cleared cache—everything. No success.

Are you certain that you have not removed the option to change mobile settings in the free version? The text that appears in your plugin under the mobile tab reads “MOBILE SETTINGS AVAILABLE ONLY IN PREMIUM VERSION,” which would seem to suggest that it’s not possible to change the mobile settings in the free version.

Hello again! Just checking in to see if there’s any update on this? Thank you.

We have updated the plugin. Now the free plugin displays the widget in the mobile version with the same settings as on the desktop.

Hmmm. I ran the update to 1.8.3, and this message still appears under the mobile tab: “MOBILE SETTINGS AVAILABLE ONLY IN PREMIUM VERSION”

I have re-saved the widget, flushed the cache, reloaded the page. No change.

Is 1.8.3 the current version, or is there another update coming?

Same on desktop: No thumbs in a row, can not make any changes in settings. Is that a CSS problem?

I have now updated the plugin (again) to 1.8.4.

This message still appears under the mobile tab: “MOBILE SETTINGS AVAILABLE ONLY IN PREMIUM VERSION.”

Is an actual fix coming for this, or should I move on to another plugin?

    Thank you.

What’s the fix? Separate settings for the mobile version are only available in the premium version of the plugin. This is not a bug.

In the free version of the plugin, the desktop settings are also applied in the mobile version. This has always been the case, but recently we added separate settings in the premium version.

Thank you. I do wish you’d simply confirmed this earlier in the thread! The question I was repeatedly asking was whether the mobile settings are not accessible in the free version.

If I may make a suggestion, updating the list of features included with the pro version might end a lot of confusion.
