Your statement is wrong. Most of the plugin functions are for free and some are available in the premium version.

    I said:

    Bottom line,

      all features are not free

    and require upgrading to “pro”.

    I don’t see how I’m wrong.

Unless somehow “all features are not free” != “Most of[snip]functions are for free” in some alternate universe.

Sorry if I sound snippy but I am finding it increasingly frustrating that plugins like yours (which don’t get me wrong is an excellent plugin and you deserve to be able to support yourself from it’s development) explicitly say that they are completely free in their description, and even go so far as to describe and explain features that you have to pay for without mentioning they are just that, paid for features.

Until of course you go ahead and install it only to discover the reason you installed it requires you to pay for the plugin. After the 30th experience of this it begins to feel very bait and switch.

My comment is only intended to help the next person caught in this frustrating experience move on and keep looking for a plugin that might solve their issue without money changing hands.

Ok, I understand your purpose. Please bear in mind that at some point I – and other develpers – can not give so much efforts and time “for nothing” (or for a few tiny donations).

    You said

That is not a gentle way, I agree. If my plugin description says this I would correct it. But I can not find this statement in the plugin’s description. Would you please show me the place where you did find this statement?

I believe it was the description of functions that required the paid version in the description without indicating that, coupled with the following “what users said quotes”, which initially was the purpose of my post, to clarify the quotes you’d included:

    • Number 3 in Top 18 Best Free WordPress Images Plugins In 3/2015 by admin on unknown March 20, 2015
    • Number 6 in Best 10 Free WordPress Plugins of the August 2014 by Manage WP Blog on August 18, 2014

Ok, I agree to your opinion. These cites will be removed with the next update.

More people would buy pro if it was only 10$

Most people see how much time and money they save if they buy the plugin instead of setting thousands of featured images manually.

Some say the plugin is worth more than 30 Euro. So I could raise the price. But I do not this.
