• No cookie popup in so called “free” version, when they removed popup nobody informed users about it and your consent just didn’t show anymore.

Get started for free is actually a 30 day trial.

The plugin has links to original author web page just to deceive users. For example the FAQ page.

This plugin is also not open source anymore and it is advertised as is. In “premium” version you get analytics and possibly more consent/data sellout troubles than this plugin is here to get you rid of. The amount of data Cookie Information collects about users is also a concern as it integrates with everything Google has to offer.

Plugin has two different web pages which is confusing for users.

The whole operation of the original author selling this plugin is shady and I do not trust this plugin.

P.S. I would include links but WordPress doesn’t allow them here although the editor literary has insert link tag.

  • @indig0f10w Sorry you feel this way! The free version is still the same (with a new codebase). The premium version uses the Cookie Information platform.
