No longer receives Wordfence activity email

    Hi,

    In the last 2 months, I didn’t receive any Wordfence activity for DD/MM/YYY on mywebsite.com emails anymore.

    Have looked thru all settings and it seemed fine. I tested and confirmed that my server was able send out email using PHPmail.

    Anyone know what’s wrong here? Thanks!

    Did you check if your email server’s IP address is blacklisted? please check this link for more details about how to check that.

    @wfalaa Thanks for your reply.

    I’ve done a lot of Googling. I did check that link before posting and confirm that my server IP address is NOT blacklisted.

    I did use Diagnosis tool available and receive test email right away.

    I’m receiving other emails like our booking confirmation without any issue so I don’t think there is anything wrong with sending emails here.

    In the Settings, I’ve gone thru all options many times and did put my email address in for receiving weekly reports.

    I checked Spam box, no Wordfence emails were there.

    Also, I no longer receive “[Wordfence Alert] Problems found on mydomain.com” as well as “Wordfence activity for DD/MM/YYY on mywebsite.com” emails.

    One other thing you should check is cron jobs, please go to (Wordfence > Diagnostics => Cron Jobs), search for something like “wordfence_email_activity_report”, also while on this page, please check these values for me: “ALTERNATE_WP_CRON, DISABLE_WP_CRON, WP_CRON_LOCK_TIMEOUT”.

    One last thing to check in the Options page is “Maximum email alerts to send per hour”, make sure it’s set to “0”, which means unlimited.

    ALTERNATE_WP_CRON, Disabled
    DISABLE_WP_CRON, Enabled
    WP_CRON_LOCK_TIMEOUT. 60

    “Maximum email alerts to send per hour” is set to “0” correctly.
