    Pulkit,

I supported your efforts and paid for the lifetime Pro plugin 2 years ago. After 12 months of use you whimsically decided to “change” your plugin purchasing model without any notice of that change. It required me to try and get in touch with you simply to “re-request” plugin licenses and newer versions so that I could access update functionality. The worse part is that I only “accidentally” discovered this plugin restructuring because the version I was using was so old, and it was bothering me that I never receive any indication that updates are available. You have no version indication in customers accounts so making informed decisions seems really difficult or near impossible.
When I attempted to re-download the plugin from my account it was then that I discovered it was no longer available and I was confused. When you finally responded to my email you dismissed my concern like it was some unreasonable expression of concern. On top of this, when I did finally uninstall/reinstall the 3 new restructured plugin functions (the original version only needed one) I discovered that indeed the plugin had numerous updates which I had suspected. Some of those changes I had been waiting patiently to see if you would implement.

Your tone was always dismissive and “ho-hum”, as though a customers expectation of receiving updates and current functionality was ridiculous and unnecessary: Your response was along the line of: “Oh yeah, I’m trying a new business selling structure so you’ll need to re-install the new plugin (and addons) versions if you want to access the latest updates”.

I do not receive notifications that updates are available and never have, even when they clearly are there. As of today, If I click the “View Details” plugin link I get, “Warning: this plugin has not been tested with your current version of WordPress.” My original plugin purchase seems to be stuck somewhere in between “I don’t care”, and “good luck trying to get a hold of me”.

You can’t just completely change the way your plugin licenses work without informing Pro customers. I need to know about those very changes that will effect how they work on my site.

Paying for a plugin lifetime licence is useless if you’re business model is to ignore customers after 12-18 months of use anyway. If you know that you are going to be unwilling to assist customers after a short “honeymoon” period of time, you need to change your license model to annual, because that is all you are essentially offering anyway.

I continue to send requests via your xootic website support page and never no longer receive ANY responses whatsoever. I can’t even get you to respond to my many emails so that you can change the email address associate with my account because it is no longet active.

Do you plan on responding???… ever?

    Steve
