So, I’ve been using this plugin for 5 years and it’s working perfectly until today. Someone commented that they can’t start the quiz. Upon checking, the quiz is not really working, no matter how much you click on the start button, nothing’s happening. This is not just on the front end. I tried editing the quiz and even tried reinserting the shortcode to a new post but nothing’s happening. Even in the preview, it’s not working.
I only noticed this problem today so I’m not sure if this has a compatibility issue with a full block theme as I changed my theme to “Twenty Twenty Three” last month.

I don’t want to remove this plugin as I’ve been using it for 5 years. I hope this issue can be fixed.

    Hi Harmonyous,

    Thanks for your message.

To assist you further, can you confirm Quiz Cat is activated? At the moment, it just shows [quiz-cat id=”4985″] on your page. Usually, this means Quiz Cat is not activated or a shortcode block was not used to add the quiz shortcode.

There is also another “[darkmysite switch” shortcode appearing at the top of your page, not sure if this is related to the Quiz Cat issue.

    All the best.

@gavinohanlon apologies for the delay. I had to deactivate all my plugins because of something.
I activated it again so please let me know your finding.

    Hi Harmonyous,

    Thanks for checking that.

It looks like “jQuery is not defined” for both Quiz Cat and the “email-subscribes” plugin you have. So there could be a conflict with another plugin.

Are you using a CDN? Sometimes CDNs might block jQuery.

To search for conflicts, please follow these steps.

    1. First please deactivate all plugins except Quiz Cat and see if the issue persists.
    2. If the issue is resolved, reactivate your plugins one by one, testing after each to see if the issue returns.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    All the best.
