Thanks for letting me know. I’m currently working on an update to add additional functionality right now, so I can take a look at this problem too. I’ve not experienced any problems though – can you help me understand what’s not working for you?

    Cheers,
    Chris

I’ve just uploaded v1.1.0 which has the new additions, but I’ve not addressed any issues. Try the latest version and let me know if you’re still having problems, and what they might be?

    Thanks!

    Hi Chris,

Thanks for the quick reply. I’ve updated to Version 1.1.0 but am still having the same problem. I am using CloudFlare, but turned it off to see if that was the issue. Still nothing.

I’m not seeing any reference to the plugin in the pages code view. What should I be looking for?

    Thanks, again,

    David

Hi David – It’s tough to troubleshoot this one. It could be a case of the emails going to your spam folder.

You won’t see any reference to the plugin in the page’s source view as it doesn’t use any stylesheet or other references.

I’ve just uploaded 1.2.0 which now has a “debug” option. Turning this on briefly will show comments on the page where you have the bno_notify shortcode when the page is requested. It will at least identify if the code is being triggered. Don’t forget to turn it off again when you’re done.

    Hope that helps!

    Chris.

Looks like the code is being triggered and the debug is indicating that the mail is being sent. Just not receiving it. I’ll keep digging. Great plugin. Great support. Thanks for your help.

    bno_notify: shortcode found
    bno_notify: preparing email
    bno_notify: sending email
    bno_notify: email sent

(By the way–what does the email say? I’ll search for the text.)

Okay, as is so often the case–it’s me, not you.

We’re running WP-Mail-SMTP and it was not authenticating properly. Fixed it. Everything works fine now.

Again, thanks so much for your prompt replies and excellent support. Blighty Notify is a great plugin.

Happy to see it worked! Thank you for letting me know.

If you ever have any ideas for the future development of this plugin, please let me know that too.

    Thanks,
    Chris
