No longer working – loading bar but no thickbox pop-up

Same error here with WordPress 4.4.1

Same true for my client. Posts created before the upgrade to 4.4.1 work fine. New posts fail to pop the image. Just get the loading bar. Posts that were created before 4.4.1 but not actually published until after the upgrade also are working. Something in the post meta perhaps? Examples below:

I’m sure the new responsive image stuff that is part of 4.4 is causing the issue. There isn’t just one image any more, there are multiple sizes in the html code. I’m sure the thickbox javascript isn’t sure what to do with the different sizes. I’ll have to see if there is any good fix to this

Thanks Mike – and in full disclosure, I did flip to the Simple Lightbox plugin though have enjoyed and appreciated your plugin for many years. Thanks! And good luck. I know the pain of maintaining a plugin through the versions. I gave up a couple of years back, though mine, fortunately, still does work. Cheers
