• The latest NextGEN Public Uploader isn’t working with the NextCellent Gallery. If the shortcode is on the page, the page simply doesn’t load. Going back to the old version for now.

Are you working with 1.8.3? That version fixed some loading compatibility issues with NGG.

Otherwise, I’m not managing to recreate. The shortcode is showing like expected and providing a form to use.

Yes, 1.8.3. I’ll try disabling other plugins and see if I can isolate the conflict then.

When I disabled NextCellent Gallery, the plugin page went blank. Only by deactivating your plugin could I see the plugin list again. Something very funky is going on with your new version.

By the way, you mentioned NGG, but this is NextCellent Gallery, which is a legacy version of NGG.

Missed seeing that detail, sorry about that. Without knowing the error occurring, it’s hard for me to figure any part out. Do you know how to enable or check error logging for your website? For what it’s worth, 1.8.3 was a change made in response to NextGEN Gallery, not NextCellent Gallery. Admittedly, you seem to possibly be set on the version that was working, and should ignore the update.

I’ll ignore the update for now, as you suggest. Do you think you’ll do any testing with NextCellent to try and get it to harmonize with that plugin?

Not likely, due to https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/end-of-life-for-nextgen-gallery-public-uploader/ and the fact that we never officially supported the fork. It’s always been a case of supporting, to various degrees, the official plugin only.
