We’ve used it for years and it works great on other devices. And your (free) plugin used to work on mobiles, but at some point your updates stopped it working properly on mobiles. I guess it was when you introduced your PRO version – which is expensive for us, as the only bit we need is it working responsively.

    1. How/can we rollback to an earlier version?
    2. Sticking with the latest version, is it somehow possible to have 2 setups – one for mobiles, and a 2nd for wider devices. if so – using CSS we could have the images on the left – for mobiles ( and use the right-hand side square lens) and leave them on the right for other devices (and use the round lens – which our UX designers prefer).

We introduced the plugin’s pro version in 2015, but the zoom functionality in the plugin’s free version was never disabled or removed. The zoom should work alright in the plugin’s free version.

Would you make sure to tick the “Enable the zoom on mobile devices” option on the “WP Admin -> WP Image Zoom -> General Settings”? Afterwards the zoom should work on mobiles.

Nevertheless, if you insist on using an older version of the plugin, then you can download it from this page and install it on the website. Alternatively, you can use a plugin similar to WP Rollback.

Hi, Thanks for responding so quickly with advice. I’ve it rolled back (arbitrarily) to 1.27 and that has got it working again on mobiles.

I accept that it’s probably nowhere as good as your pro version. If you ever have a Black Friday sale … let me know ??

    Thanks again.
