No <br /> tags in Comments?

  • Comments in my blog no longer have have <br /> tags although the commenter uses new line in his/her comments. WordPress used to append <br /> tags on every new line automatically, and I am not sure since which version this fails to work.

    Please help. Thanks

  • disable your plugins one by one — checking to see if a change is applied after you disable each one.

    Line breaks work just fine in a vanilla WP2.2 – so if you are not seeing them, it’s a plugin problem.

    I see that you are using the smilies plugin — that’s the first plugin to disable.

    Additionally, if you search you will find that this has already been discussed ??
