No Magnifier on Page Load. Swap Images Flaky

Hi,

1 – Upon loading the page, the magnifier doesn’t work until I select a gallery image.

– Something else must be wrong or taking to long to load.

2 – When I change the attribute, the main product image changes to show the attribute image, but all gallery images disappear except the one attribute image for the selected attribute.

– It’s supposed to change all the images to match the attribute chosen, if none appear is because there is no other images matching the attribute. Dont forget in the product gallery to attribute the variation to each image (there is no BULK select).

Hum… this does not solve my problem. It is not taking too long to load.
Does the main product image need to be attached to an attribute?

Each gallery image does have an attribute chosen. When I select an attribute, all gallery images disappear except for the one I chose. The main product image changes to the attribute image. I see one attribute image that is the one I chose. Nothing else.

Here is what I did.
1 – Add primary product image. That is assigned to an attribute.
2 – Add Gallery Images. Assigned to respective attributes. (Do not add the primary product image to gallery.)

Ugh – one gallery image says “Image in use by other product, if you wish to use with this product upload another new/same image.
Image will not be displayed!”
>>There is _no other product and never has been. This is the first and only one to date.

I deleted that image from Media Library and re-uploaded it. I still get that message for the image.

When loading the page, the primary product image has no magnifier.

When selecting an attribute, the images swap but the gallery images disappear except for the selected attribute image.
Yes – all gallery images have an attribute assigned to them.
Sometimes, selecting a new attribute does not swap the image. Perhaps from the “Image in use” problem?

Sigh. I really want this to work so I can upgrade to your paid version.

Were you there? This seems to be behaving slightly differently.

Upon loading the page,

1. The magnifier is working for the primary product image.
2. I no longer see the gallery of images, only one gallery image that is selected in the attributes is shown.
3. The default is “Choose an option” is not selected.

And, the primary product image doesn’t work if the attribute is selected for it. Yes – it has an attribute assigned to it. Does that also have to be in the gallery?

hm… I’m not getting any issues, I do confirm the bug issue you had with the picture, but nothing else. Everything works as expected.

Magnifier works perfectly on load. What browser are you using?
The gallery disappearing is supposed to do that after you select an attribute, on select it will hide all other images that do not correspond to the attribute, showing only the images corresponding to the attribute, this is default behaviour. This is useful if you have more than 1 picture for the same variation. You can see the behaviour in my demo. https://svi.rosendo.pt/free/product/variation/

It was just to know if you still envisage to add “keep thumbnails” feature when swap select is activ.

is it also possible to change “erase” button under select area by “all color” ?

so that customer can understand simply how selecting another color.
