Hi, I installed your plugin today, for the first time.
I have created a form to be contacted from my site.
I have set my mail in “Email Notifications”, I have published the form. But if I try to send a message, I don’t get any mail. Why?
Are there any settings on the server to make?
    Thanks for your work

    Edit: no mail in spam

    Hello @marcorroma !

Hope you’re having a good day!

The most common cause of this is that emails sent from WordPress’ default mail function are often classified as spam by email providers (Gmail being a known example). This is because the feature has been abused by spammers and it was decided that it’s easier to just drop those emails than to try to filter them out.

In this case we suggest setting up SMTP sending on your site. It’s like setting up an email app on your phone or computer, the same credentials are usually used.

To set that up, you’ll need a plugin, such as our Branda: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/branda-white-labeling/ You can set this in Branda >> Emails >> SMTP. Once that’s done, your emails should have a much better deliverability overall.

Note: if the emails end up in spam after setting SMTP up, please simply mark them manually as “Not spam”. This will “teach” the email provider that those are valid messages.

    Kind regards,
    Pawel
