Hello, I need help, all of a sudden, I’m unable to see products when trying to add items while creating orders manually on the back end and while editing an order. It returns “No matches found” no matter what I type.

I have inspected the ajax request calls and the call to admin-ajax.php returns status code 200 but with an empty array response. (see link for screenshot)

I have used woocommerce tools to regenerate Product lookup tables, but still facing the issue.

    woocommerce version: 5.0.0

    Hi @kenmobility,

Currently, with WooCommerce, a name that is fairly close to the exact product name has to be entered in the search field. For example, you can find a product with Ultra Thin Ring Set of 5, 14K Rose but not with Ultra Thin Ring Set of 5:

I’d suggest using the full name of a product when searching for it on the order page.

Let us know how it goes.

Thank you for your response, even though copying the whole product name seems to be working for some product, I still believe that the search is not working very well like it used to before, initially like they stated, after entering just up to three characters, it pulls down lots of related products.

I even tried to copy the full name of a product that is already in the order list but it didn’t show (see link to screenshot)

Sorry for the late reply on this thread.

This is indeed odd as the full name is expected to return the product. I’m not able to reproduce this but if it persists, I recommend taking a look at our self-service guide here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-self-service-guide/

In case you still face difficulties after this, we can investigate further together.

    Best!

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved. If you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

Hi, I have a similar issue, but instead of no matches found, it gave the wrong product result, unless I type almost close to our product…

Please see the video here: https://www.loom.com/share/1688210ae9f24243b5f6ba0763b0bda2

Basically typing “iPhone” yields wrong results totally non-relevant to our product, we have to type “iPhone 8 gold” to get the somewhat right result, but it still displays “iPhone SE”

We already tried Woocommerce – Status – Tools – Product lookup tables – Renegerate already.
