    Hello,

I have moved the WP media library to a subdomain with the help of a tutorial.
The tutorial did not show if WordPress has to be installed on the subdomain. So I first tried WordPress for the main and subdomain and installed the plugin WP Original Media Path.
Result: The images were output with a different extension and therefore not displayed. Now I have on the main domain WordPress and on the subdomain there is only the image folder. I entered the media path correctly and still the images are not displayed in the media library.
Message: There are no media files available.
    Unfortunately the page is offline.
Can you help me? Where could the error be? Thank you Anette

    Hello @herzass

You must not move your WordPress website.
You must create a subdomain that directs to the same folder as WordPress or ver the location of your future uploads folder.

    For example,
    my https://www.domain.com goes in www/
I want to create the subdomains images.domain.com, I point it for example to www/wp-content/uploads/

Then in the plugin I put the following field: https://images.domain.com

Try to go back (your steps) to restore) the origin.

    Hello,

on the main domain, the path is https://pics4likes.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/images, and on the subdomain is the path. https: //images.pics4likes / uploads / images (without WordPress installation). Nevertheless, the images are not displayed and I get the message that the upload directory is not writable, although it is on 777.

I do not understand your configuration.

    Your main website is: https://pics4likes.com/?
By default the images are stored https://domain.com/wp-content/uploads

You must add the subdomains to the folders: https://pics4likes.com/wp-content/uploads

then in the plugin put the configuration of the field:
    https://images.pics4likes

I do not quite understand this sentence:
You must add the subdomains to the folders: https://pics4likes.com/wp-content/uploads
My English is not that good. Can you please explain that to me a little differently? Thank you.

in the configuration of your grass, you must give the position where the folder is.

For your subdomain, you must configure the wp-content / uploads folder in your host.

Watch coomment is configured the main domain to understand how to configure the sub domains

Hello again please understand: On the subdomain NO WordPress install? Just upload the WordPress folder wp-content / uploads / images? Is that correct?

    I can not help you.
I invite you to reread the operation of the help.
I have already taken a lot of time to detail the procedures.

I invite you to get help from someone who speaks your native language.

I am unfortunately a volunteer and I can not help more than that everyone.

This plugin is for use by people who are familiar with DNS, WordPress.

    Good luck
