No mention of Stripe on credit card entry

    Hi,

    while I understand that you’re not currently showing icons for the credit cards, I have one site that’s live using this and one in development, both using the woo/stripe integration. Neither one shows any mention about Stripe in the field where they enter their credit card number and there’s no place I can see to add it. All it says is Credit Card/Debit Card enter your card details and then the place to enter it. I’d like to say something like ‘Payments cleared through Stripe’ if possible. I’ve looked at a different browser to make sure it wasn’t Chrome and it didn’t have it there either (Edge).

    I’ve tried to add the credit card icons as described in the workaround but that’s not showing either.

    Is there any way to modify the section to at least say something about Stripe and accepting MC/Visa/AMex?

    Can you please let me know if you are using the Early Access feature or you are using the regular checkout method? It will be great if you can share a screenshot of your Stripe settings from WooCommerce > Settings > Payment > Settings > Payment methods page.

    In the regular checkout method, I can rename the payment method and set descriptions:

    If you have early access enabled, you should see all the accepted card details:

    You can also use the translation method to translate the “Pay with credit card / debit card” title using Loco Translate.

    Hi,

    thanks for your response. I was sort of hesitant to enable the newer checkout method because I wasn’t sure if you could revert back if there were issues with it. I’ve gone ahead and done that though and the cards show, so thank you for pointing that out.

    I definitely do not have that section where I can change the description like you show in your screenshot. And now that I’ve gone to the new one, I can’t show you a screenshot. There was only 1 page for the stripe settings and it looks nothing like yours. It didn’t even mention Stripe as yours shows. Normally under the Woo/Settings/Payments where it has all of the possible methods (BACS, PayPal, Checks, etc.) I was always able to edit those and put something else in there but not for this plugin. When I click on Payment Methods/WooCommerce Payments/Manage it takes me straight to the one page for that plugin, no option still to change any kind of name for Credit Card/Debit Card (even after going to the new checkout version).

    Thanks so much for the update! I’m glad to hear that everything appears to be working well now, even though your screen doesn’t look the same as our screenshots.

    I’ll go ahead and mark this as resolved, but definitely let us know if you see anything unusual come up with this in the future!
