Hello, after a user edits or adds data about himself, there is no message for successful editing. Even if you add js code, according to the documentation of the plugin, it does not work, because the plugin, after editing the profile, does not redirect to “?update= ne6to-si”, but simply back to the dashboard. What is the solution to this?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @simeonovy

The issue is that you’re using the Account page as the User page which causes a conflict. The user page and Account page have different purposes. User Page lets users add their profile details and the Account page handles all user preferences/settings.

So do you think I should turn them over and everything will be fine?

    Hi @simeonovy

Is this a customized redirection “?update= ne6to-si” ? UM doesn’t have this URL parameter after updating the profile. Have you tried the solutions above with the custom codes?

? um_action = edit is the end of the edit address, but the problem is that the end should then be for a successfully edited profile. There is no point in adding additional codes to make such a message work – that’s what I mean. It takes time and energy for something so simple. Yes, the code worked and thanks for that. But my thought is that the error messages in the required fields are there, and those for successful editing are not. There is no logic.

Glad that the code works! I’ll add this as a feature request.

This will make it easier for many users and reduce this type of question. Thanks
